I love the name [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] but I don’t know if it works with our first son, [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], or our surname that sounds like [name_m]Brenner[/name_m]. Is it too trendy next to [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]? I know most people don’t love name alliteration but as long as it flows well I don’t mind it. Middle name will be [name_m]Allen[/name_m]. Any thoughts? What other name would you put with [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]? This is our short list right now:
[name_m]Beckett[/name_m] (too trendy?)
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] (I love but husband dislikes)
[name_u]Grady[/name_u] (husband favorite but I just picture a farmer)
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] (family name but may sound too close to [name_m]Lucas[/name_m])
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m] and [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]Brenner[/name_m] flows nicely I think, though I’m not sure [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]Allen[/name_m] to be honest. What about [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_m]Allen[/name_m], or [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Allen[/name_m]. which both go well with [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] as well?

Or [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]?
I am thinking about [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] too, as I have to use a B name for our next LO. I think it is a strong name, but also is really cute on a child. I also think it goes with [name_m]Lucas[/name_m].
I think they work very well. [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] is literary and historical, but still sounds modern to the ear.
With the middle name [name_m]Allen[/name_m], I would eliminate [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] and [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]-- that -n ending sound is too repetitive.
[name_m]Beckett[/name_m] [name_m]Brenner[/name_m] sounds like a sporty, smart boy. Very flexible.
