Franklin definitely feels a little bit vintage/old-fashioned to me, but I think that’s part of the charm! I love it. And honestly it makes me think of the children’s book character before I would think of an old man. If you’re in the US, the popularity stats seem to agree that it’s a vintage pick but wouldn’t be shocking on a 2021 baby by any means–it’s barely dipped out of the top 500 the whole time the charts have existed, and recently reentered. Anyway, I would love to meet a little [name_m]Franklin[/name_m]! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I think [name_m]Franklin[/name_m] sounds younger and more modern than the traditional “[name_m]Frank[/name_m]”.

I know someone with a little [name_m]Franklin[/name_m]!! (I’m in the US). I’ll be honest in that it wasn’t my favorite choice at first, but once I met him I absolutely fell for the name. His nickname is [name_m]Frank[/name_m], and it’s honestly the sweetest little name on a baby. LOVE IT

I think [name_m]Franklin[/name_m] is definitely ready for a revival! It sounds fresh to me. I also like the potential nicknames like [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_f]Lin[/name_f], or [name_m]Franko[/name_m].

Franklin definitely has a vintage feel, but it’s not dated to me at all! I love the name personally :relaxed:

Yes, but I don’t think that’s bad. And not in a way that feels dated. I think [name_m]Franklin[/name_m], and especially nn [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] if you choose to use that ofc, is cute!

I feel like it’s old cause it’s known and familiar but it’s young cause of the lyn ending and the nn [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]. It’s sweet and charming at the same time.
