Does Jessamine have a place in my favorites?

So, out of nowhere, the name [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] has grabbed my attention. I really like the nickname [name_f]Jessa[/name_f] (or [name_f]Mina[/name_f]… or [name_f]Minnie[/name_f]… or [name_u]Jem[/name_u]…). It would also be perfect as a way to honor a very good friend named [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]. It’s kind of left-field, though, for me. How do you feel about Jessamine? [name_m]How[/name_m] does it go with my favorites? Specifically my top two, [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Elena[/name_f]? Thanks. :slight_smile:

I love [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f], nn [name_f]Mina[/name_f], or [name_f]Jessa[/name_f]. It’s frillier to me than [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but I think it goes well with [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f].

[name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] is such a sweet name. I love all the nickname options too. It’s a great way to honor a [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]. I have considered it to honor my great-grandmother, [name_u]Jessie[/name_u].
[name_f]Elena[/name_f] is one of my favorites, as well.
[name_f]Jessamine[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] make a fine sibset.

I thought it would clash because it feels SO [name_m]LONG[/name_m] compared to the five-letter [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Elena[/name_f].

@emsky – I know! I feel like it goes perfectly with my fancier favorites, but DH is obsessed with [name_f]Elena[/name_f]!

so all I have to say is, use it if you both love it it is both beautiful and cute!
