Does Marcella Alexandra work? Do any of these work?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! [name_f][/name_f] I’ve got a new name crush. [name_f][/name_f] I’m really digging [name_f]Marcella[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f] It honors a family member, translates well in my native language/culture. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]My[/name_f] hubby is not quite on board yet but it wasn’t an outright no! [name_f][/name_f] I worry that it’s too many Ls and As/syllables. [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is a family name as well.

[name_f][/name_f]

Other names on my list right now are: [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], [name_m]James[/name_m] MN (going back and forth between [name_m]Gordon[/name_m], [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_m]Austin[/name_m], and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], all family names). [name_f][/name_f] The only other family name I haven’t figured out how to use is [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] or [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], but I don’t think it goes well with [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] either? [name_f][/name_f] Thoughts? [name_f][/name_f] What do you like best, if any [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f], [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]? [name_f][/name_f] I’ve even played with [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Lexi[/name_f] but I don’t think it flows well with the Ls. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] [name_f]Lexi[/name_f] is also floating around in my head but that leaves no family middle name for [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] (and what are the odds I have 3 girls?). [name_f][/name_f] Last name is a two syllable name starting with T (common for boys and trains).

[name_f][/name_f]

Thanks so much!

I LOVE [name_f]Marcella[/name_f]! So excited to see that you’re considering it. I actually really like the A sound with [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] together! I think it flows really nicely.

[name_f]Marcella[/name_f] is beautiful! [name_f][/name_f] I really like [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f] I was trying to think of a way to avoid so many A’s, too, but couldn’t think of anything I truly liked better than [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f] Maybe [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandrine[/name_f]? [name_f][/name_f] It’s pretty long though. [name_f][/name_f] I do like [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] best from your current options! [name_f][/name_f] (Georgiana [name_f]Lexi[/name_f] is also very cute.)

I like [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] best of all of your options. I think they balance each other out in style, syllables, and sound. It’s pretty without being overall too much.
[name_f][/name_f]Very pretty!

I like the flow of [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]If you have a 2nd girl, [name_f][/name_f] I like….
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] (or [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Amelie[/name_f],
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f],
[name_f][/name_f]Athena)

I really like [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] out of your options! I personally am not a fan of names ending with A followed by an A middle name because it kind of sounds like a bit of a stutter. [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] isn’t as bad for this because the end of [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] is an “uh” sound, and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] starts with an “aa” sound, but it still feels a bit clunky in my mouth if that makes sense. I think both names ending in A is pretty though, which is why I think [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] or [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] would work better!

I don’t know sex yet, but love [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] for a girl as well so I was excited to see your choice! [name_f][/name_f] If it is a boy, he will be [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] (nn Nico). [name_f][/name_f] I will use [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] to honor my sister that has passed away. I love the idea of family names so I think they are all good choices, especially knowing that they will unlikely be saying or writing their middle name all the time. If I had to choose, I like [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f]. It’s long, but might you well go all out with such lovely names.

[name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is grand, powerful and bright!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] came to mind too [name_f][/name_f]- or [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Georgette[/name_f].

[name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is absolutely gorgeous – powerful & feminine, with an elegant undertone! With [name_m]James[/name_m], I really like [name_m]James[/name_m] [name_m]Gordon[/name_m] & [name_m]James[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]. [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is lovely as well!

[name_f][/name_f]

If you’d like to use all of your honor / family names, I’d arrange the combos like:
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f]Davina[/name_f] – (Davina as a form of David)
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] / [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]

[name_f][/name_f]

I love your list & combos – you can’t go wrong with any of them!
