Does this name have a nice flow, or is it an irritating rhyme?

Hiya all. [name]Ive[/name] posted a fair few times about both boys & girls names - 27weeks pregnant with our second child, did not find out the sex!

We have always wanted [name]Leah[/name] for a little girl and still wanted to use the name, a few other names popped up but i think we have definately decided on [name]Leah[/name] now!
A middle name was proving difficult however i loved the name [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. My partner wasnt too sure as the first thing he said was “it rhymes”!

He has now grown to it and said he would like to use [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. I just want peoples opinions do you think it has a pretty flow or is it an irritating rhyming name that we could possibly regret?

Surname is [name]Bryan[/name]. [name]LEAH[/name] [name]SOPHIA[/name] [name]BRYAN[/name]?

Thanks x

There is actually a jewelry line called [name]Lia[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]…You can check it out here: Liasophia.com

This fact would personally bother me, but if it doesn’t bother you at all, then of course you should use the name you like best.
I just thought you might want to take it into consideration first if you were not aware of it.

I adore the names [name]Leah[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name] both, but as for alternatives, perhaps [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] or [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sonia[/name]?

I have never heard of the jewellery line [name]Lia[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] what country is it based in? Were in the UK so i can’t see that being a problem

I love it! It doesn’t exactly rhyme because of the different syllables, but it rhymes just enough to be catchy.

It seems to be based out of the U.S., at least currently. Did you get a chance to look at the website link I gave you?
Here is a good history of the brand: Liasophia.com

The brand has gotten considerable recognition in the public eye via celebrities, acknowledgement/segments via Television & in print as well, so I just thought it might be something to consider…

I, too, love it. I immediately thought of the jewelry brand, but I’ve always loved their name, haha, so I don’t think it’s a huge problem. Some people might say something but I doubt it’d be a huge deal, especially since MNs are rarely used. [name]How[/name] often will she be known as [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]? Not often, I would guess…

It really depends how much you love it. If does rhyme, yes, but really, it isn’t a HUGE deal.

I don’t care for it, personally. I like [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophie[/name], [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sylvia[/name], [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sonia[/name], but [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] is just too much for me. But middle names really aren’t used much, so I think it’s fine if you love it. It’s really not a big deal.

[name]Love[/name] the name [name]Leah[/name]! I wouldn’t use [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] because the rhyme would irritate me; I think [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Bryan[/name] works better. But if it doesn’t bother you guys, then it’s probably no harm done.

I wouldn’t use it, as the rhyme sounds well, a little weird. [name]How[/name] about [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophie[/name]?

I really dont like [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophie[/name]. Im not sure why it just doesnt seem like something we would personally choose

I like [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]! I think it flows very nicely - two classic names that go well together.
(There is an actress named [name]Anna[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Robb[/name], and I always liked her name, also.)

I got so excited when I started reading your post because my name is [name]Leah[/name]. Unfortunately, I dislike the rhyme of [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. It certainly isn’t bad, just not what I would use. It just seems a bit too cutesy for me.

Go with [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]! It’s very pretty and I don’t think it’s that big of a deal that it rhymes. If the first name rhymes with the last name, then it’s a different story. [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] is such a lovely, sweet little combo. And I disagree with others that say you should go with [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] instead, it’s just not the same and it doesn’t sound very rhythmic at all.

I think it’s pretty. I don’t know that I would use it myself but it’s very pretty and I definitely admire it, [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Bryan[/name] is so much more outstanding than [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Bryan[/name] which almost seems commonplace to me. I’ve never heard of the jewelry company. If you love it, you should use it.

It sounds like you are naming your child after a jewelry company. I like [name]Leah[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name] fine on their own but together it just makes me think of jewelry plus it’s too rhyme-y.

I like [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] better :).

Are you going to call her [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] or just [name]Leah[/name] most of the time? If the [name]Sophia[/name] part of her name is going to be “sidelined” for most of her life - as most middle names are - then I think it’s just fine! I personally like [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] together; it’s lyrical/poetic!

[name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] will be used strictly as a first name and middle name. So more than anything she would be known as [name]Leah[/name]!
I am a sucker for calling our son by his first & middle name together - [name]Taylor[/name] [name]John[/name], & i think i would use [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] but it would be at home and a personal thing.

Me & my partner are really growing on the name, i love both names seperately & at first did try to compromise with [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Lea[/name] (prn [name]Leigh[/name]), but [name]Leah[/name] has been our top girls name since the beginning of our relationship and the girls name we wanted when i was pregnant with my son was [name]Leah[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - which we can no longer use due to so many people around us having similar names for their children, [name]Leah[/name] [name]Grace[/name] was a perfect combo for us as we wanted a pretty name that would grow with our child. We now think that [name]Leah[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] fits what we want in a girls name and the more we say it the more we like it.
The jewellery company doesnt bother me at all as ive never even heard of it and ive been asking around family and friends, they havnt heard of it either.

Thanks for all of your comments x
