[name_f]Theodora[/name_f] would work better
[name_f]Dora[/name_f] or [name_f]Thea[/name_f] would be cuter [name_f]IMO[/name_f] but [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] works too
No rules for nicknames. Any nickname is fair game imo. Like ANY. Like [name_u]Scout[/name_u] for [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f].
Call her whatever you want.
I think [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] sounds a bit masculine since it’s usually used for boys, but if you don’t mind that it could definitely work!
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] are very nearly anagrams of each other, so I could see nicknames like [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] and [name_f]Dot[/name_f] being used interchangeably for either. Obviously, [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] will seem masculine to most people just like [name_f]Dot[/name_f] would seem feminine, but if you’re cool with that, then it works.
