Dorothea vs. Dorthea

What do you all prefer? We’re planning to go with [name_f]Dorthea[/name_f], as more of a modern take on the vintage classic and without the extra syllable, but I’m curious what others think of this uncommon spelling. We’ll call her [name_f]Thea[/name_f] for short. Thanks!!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Thea[/name_f], like [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f], hate [name_f]Dorthea[/name_f]. Looks like a typo and imo makes the name ugly.

[name_f]Dorthea[/name_f] looks weird to me. [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] is adorable though.

I like it in theory but I agree, I think people will constantly mistake it for [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f].
