Our options:

[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] vs. [name_u]June[/name_u]

(and no, because of our last name we can’t call her [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u])

[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is funny and spunky ([name_f]Viv[/name_f], [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]), [name_u]June[/name_u] is darling and solid ([name_f]Junie[/name_f])

They are so different!

Our 2 yr. olds name is [name_u]Delaney[/name_u], but either seems to go.

Is [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] too ‘sophisticated’ (we are not fancy people haha)- is [name_u]June[/name_u] too plain?

I tried to talk my husband into [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] but he’s not having it.

Sigh. We are never going to figure this out. :slight_smile:

I really like both. I think [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] fits slightly better with [name_u]Delaney[/name_u].

[name_u]Vivian[/name_u], hands down. But I think you keep coming back to [name_u]June[/name_u] for a reason. So if you prefer [name_u]June[/name_u] just go with that. [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is adorable but maybe not the right fit? Maybe [name_u]June[/name_u] fits her better?

I love both and both go great with [name_u]Delaney[/name_u]. It seems like you keep switching out a name and keeping [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] but are not able to commit to [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]? I think you are right that [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is sophisticated & more formal. Maybe that keeps it from feeling 100% right? I don’t think [name_u]June[/name_u] is plain. I know a little [name_u]June[/name_u] and my love for the name has grown with her. It’s so beautiful in a simple way and spunky - it is absolutely adorable on her! I think it’s a slightly better fit with [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] than [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]. Maybe try not to overthink it and see which one feels right.

Both are lovely. I slightly prefer [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] with [name_u]Delaney[/name_u]. My friend goes by [name_f]Vivi[/name_f], short for [name_f]Veronica[/name_f], but it’s a great spunky nn choice.

I prefer [name_u]June[/name_u]. I think [name_f]Junie[/name_f] is adorable.

I love both [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_u]June[/name_u]. I think overall I’m drawn to [name_u]June[/name_u] “[name_f]Junie[/name_f] / [name_u]June[/name_u] Bug” more so with [name_u]Delaney[/name_u]. You can’t go wrong either way.

I prefer [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]. Although [name_u]June[/name_u] is also cute, I think [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] goes better with [name_u]Delaney[/name_u].
