[name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f], [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f], [name_f]Forsythia[/name_f], [name_f]Mariposa[/name_f] and [name_f]Parthenia[/name_f] are the ideals on my “dream girls” list for their four-syllable count and fast-and-forceful sounds.
To me, they’re quirky-clunky and ugly-cute.
[name_f]Love[/name_f], love, love them – they make my heart sing :)!
My question is this: Have I missed any “sister” names that may or may not be included in Nameberry’s database?
Names that follow your all of your criteria:
[name_f]Olympia[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicitas[/name_f]
[name_f]Floriana[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Esperanza[/name_f]
[name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f]
Names that are feminine forms you may like:
[name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Bernardetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f]
Names that aren’t four syllables but you may like them:
[name_f]Ekaterina[/name_f]
From your list I love [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] and [name_f]Forsythia[/name_f]!
Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!
[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] and [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f], [name_f]Jacinda[/name_f]/[name_f]Jacinta[/name_f] came to mind, and I always put [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] in the clunky/elegant category.
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] are on my list; [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], [name_f]Esperanza[/name_f], [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f], [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f], [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f] and [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] were all contenders.
Also, I found that [name_f]Elea[/name_f] off of British [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Names has some wonderful ones that aren’t listed on NB in her finds from the 1800’s!
[name_f]Persephone[/name_f] and [name_f]Hermione[/name_f], I’d say fit in that description. [name_f]Amadora[/name_f], maybe? [name_f]Benjamina[/name_f]; [name_f]Cenobia[/name_f]. [name_f]Cinderella[/name_f].
