Drina?

I have been watching the TV series [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] with [name_f]Jenna[/name_f] [name_m]Coleman[/name_m] and I have sort of fallen in love with the name [name_f]Drina[/name_f]! (It is a nickname for [name_f]Queen[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] when she was a child as her full name is [name_f]Alexandrina[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].)

I don’t really like [name_f]Alexandrina[/name_f] - a bit of a mouthful - but I find [name_f]Drina[/name_f] very pretty.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Drina[/name_f] can stand on its own and if not what would you use as a longer version?

Good and bad thoughts are welcome!

Thanks.

I definitely think [name_f]Drina[/name_f] could work by herself! She sounds prettier the more and more I think about her.

I do think it could work on its own, but I’m not a huge fan of the name. It just doesn’t appeal to me.

I’m not personally a [name_f]Drina[/name_f] fan because it reminds me of Draino (sorry!). I also find it a little thin as a full name.

My initial thought is [name_f]Andrina[/name_f] or [name_f]Audrina[/name_f].

I fell in love with [name_f]Drina[/name_f] too from that show but [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] is too much while [name_f]Drina[/name_f] on its own is a bit thin somehow. I like the idea above of finding another full name for it.

I like [name_f]Drina[/name_f], but I feel like it needs something to finish it off, as it feels very incomplete as a standalone name.

I second the suggestion of [name_f]Audrina[/name_f] though - I absolutely love it!

Same. I thought [name_f]Andrina[/name_f] or Xandrina could be a long form, but I think [name_f]Drina[/name_f] could stand on it’s own. I just met a [name_f]Treena[/name_f] in real life, so I see the appeal.
