As many if you know, hubby and I have been struggling for a name for our daughter. We’ve flip flopped between the two names for months. Not only are we no closer to narrowing it down. We now have added another. Please offer your thoughts and opinions. Middle name is non negotiable due to an ailing grandmother that we want to honor.
Options are:
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_m]McCabe[/name_m] (nn [name_f]Kate[/name_f])
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_m]McCabe[/name_m] (don’t like any nn. But if we had to have one it would be charlee not lotte)
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_m]McCabe[/name_m] ([name_u]Izzy[/name_u])
Brothers name is [name_m]Liam[/name_m] [name_m]Philip[/name_m]
All of your names are really quite nice, which does make it hard to decide. I think you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose.
I really like nn [name_f]Kate[/name_f], so I’d probably go with [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as my top choice.
All three are beautiful and you can honestly not go wrong. With [name_m]Liam[/name_m] I am slightly preferring [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. I personally love the nicknames Isby and [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]. [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and Isby would be adorable.
I think [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] “goes” best with [name_m]Liam[/name_m]. [name_m]Both[/name_m] remind me of names you might find in an Irish-Scots Catholic family, if that makes any sense. I agree with pp that it’s OK to wait until you meet your baby! [name_f]My[/name_f] mom did that with my little brother. He was going to be [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] but when she met him she said, “you don’t look like a [name_m]John[/name_m].” So [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] he became.
