A few days to go, and as someone who has really REALLY struggled this time around I would love to hear your opinions on the only name on our list…
[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] (surname is 2 syllables beginning with D)
I think it’s romantic, feminine, poetic and strong… but we have had some negative opinions from family. I think I’m looking for reassurance more than brutal honesty, but I am open to constructive criticism.
I’ve been on the boards here through 2 pregnancies now but for some reason have been unable to log into my account this week (themamae)

It’s beautiful. It’s perfect. There are adorable nn options and [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] also stands on its own without a nn.

You’ve chose a beautiful, strong versatile name. It’s also recognizable but not too common which is the perfect combination. She will have lots of nn options if she wants one. My friend goes by [name_f]Tina[/name_f] and she loves that is cute, feminine, simple and uncommon. So that could be a good option for a nn.
Seriously, that is one of the most beautiful combinations I have come across.
It’s so lyrical and it conjures up the image of a beautiful, confident girl who is strong and intelligent. It works for all ages too, its adorable for a little girl, spunky for a teenager and elegant for a young lady.
I think you should use it, especially if you love it. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t let other people ruin a name you so clearly adore (and which is so lovely!)
Ditto to @claradee. We all love different names, thank goodness or we’d all name our children the same, so stick with the one you love. It is gorgeous!
I love it! [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t listen to anyone else’s opinion. They got to name their babies, this is YOUR baby. Pick the name you love. If you change your mind, you might end up regretting it later. [name_m]Trust[/name_m] me, once they meet this little baby, her name will just be her name and no one will even think about it twice.
[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] is one of my favorite names. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is great as a middle name. Overall, the combo is amazing!
As for getting back into your old account, when I first tried to log in, I got a message telling me to go check my email to confirm my account. I followed the link that I was sent and was able to sign back in.
Ha! Turn out I am not the only one who can’t log in to my account.
Anyway, [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is very beautiful. If romantic is what you’re looking for, go with it, because the name screams romance to me (valentine + [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]). Maybe it is not at all an issue though.I think it is a great name overall.
