We’re expecting our fourth, 2nd girl, and would like some feedback on our list of names for her. My children are [name_m]Marvin[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]. Here are the names we are loving the most right now: Evolet (I know it’s made up, but I’m in love with it!), [name_f]Eponine[/name_f] ([name_f]Nina[/name_f]), [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Eluned[/name_f] ([name_f]Luna[/name_f]).
From your list my favorites would be [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f].
Other E names
[name_u]Ellery[/name_u]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_u]Embry[/name_u]
[name_u]Emery[/name_u]
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
I really like [name_f]Eponine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nina[/name_f]
If you went with [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] or [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] (both pretty names also) I feel like they don’t match w sibling [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]?
Honestly, with [name_m]Marvin[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f], I don’t think any of the names from your list go well. I love the name [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] but it doesn’t have the same flair as the others, and I think Evolet, [name_f]Eluned[/name_f] and [name_f]Eponine[/name_f] are too harsh for the sweet, light and airy [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]. [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] seem miles away in terms of style than the children’s names, too.
I second the suggestion of [name_f]Eudora[/name_f], I think that goes beautifully. But then you’ve really enforced the pattern with two boys called Ma- and two girls called Eu- so if that’s an issue I’d avoid it.
[name_f]Eira[/name_f] (I think this goes the best)
[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]
[name_f]Elvira[/name_f]
[name_f]Evadne[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleni[/name_f] (I love this with [name_m]Marvin[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] too)
What about [name_f]Ediva[/name_f], [name_f]Evening[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_u]Evan[/name_u], [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] or Evighet?
Thank you for your responses. On the subject of [name_f]Eudora[/name_f], we have considered it but find that an entire first syllable identical to our daughter’s name in both spelling and sound won’t work for us. I really like the suggestions of [name_f]Eleni[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] and [name_f]Eira[/name_f].
From your list, I think [name_f]Eponine[/name_f], [name_f]Eluned[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] would go best with your children’s names, and especially with [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f].
Here are some more suggestions:
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Estella[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Elysia[/name_f]
[name_f]Endellion[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Edwina[/name_f]
[name_f]Evanthe[/name_f]
[name_f]Eveline[/name_f]/[name_f]Evelina[/name_f]
[name_f]Eugenia[/name_f]
I really like [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] but they don’t really match [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] in terms of style. [name_f]Eponine[/name_f] goes well with [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] however it is not really my style.
I love the suggestions of [name_f]Eleni[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Eira[/name_f] & [name_f]Elysia[/name_f].
My favourites from your list are [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. I don’t mind [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] either.
Suggestions:
[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]
[name_u]Ember[/name_u]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Estella[/name_f]
[name_m]Marvin[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] - perfect! I love it.
[name_m]Marvin[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] - [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] sounds too trendy next to the rare [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f], plus with [name_f]Esther[/name_f] you can have [name_f]Essie[/name_f] as a nickname which is really close. If you give [name_f]Esther[/name_f] an “L” middle name, e.g., [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], you could nickname her [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], I think.
[name_m]Marvin[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Eluned[/name_f] - you already have an “oo” sound in [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] plus a prominent “L”, will get confusing for people - their names will be mixed up.
[name_m]Marvin[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Eponine[/name_f] - gorgeous!
[name_m]Marvin[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] - too trendy, also feels like a smoosh between [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] and your boys names.
From your list, my favorites are [name_f]Eluned[/name_f] and [name_f]Eponine[/name_f]. Evolet is such an interesting name! [name_m]How[/name_m] do you pronounce it?
My favorites from your list are [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] (fave), Evolet, and [name_f]Eluned[/name_f]. [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] has a more classic feel while still being very modern and interesting. [name_f]Eluned[/name_f] is unique and beautiful, and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] would be a great nickname, but I wonder if the nickname would overshadow the full name? And Evolet is actually a really interesting name. I’ve never heard it before, but I really like it and it makes me wonder why it’s not trendy right now, given the popular “E name” factor (reminding us of [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f]), as well as the “et” ending (reminding us of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f]). If you are in love with this name, you should use it! (You can always use Eevie as a nickname too!)
