I would automatically say eemz but if corrected I could do aymz easily. Cute names but i would like [name]Eamon[/name] nn [name]Eames[/name] a bit better.
I think most people would automatically pn. [name]Eames[/name] as Eemz, due to the popular modern architect and designer duo [name]Charles[/name] & [name]Ray[/name] [name]Eames[/name]. Although it’s probably supposed to be pn. Aymes, most people (even architecture professors) still pn. it Eemz. So really, i think either could work. I do however, like the idea of having a son named [name]Eamon[/name] (pn. [name]Aymon[/name]) with the nickname [name]Eames[/name] (Aymes). Funky, yet still traditional, with an amazing person (…duo) to have as a “name sake”.

It is pronounced as Eemz. [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Ray[/name] [name]Eames[/name] designed iconic retro furniture. So, if you go with [name]Eames[/name] his brother would have to be Retro!

Yep–the first thing I thought of was [name]Kathryn[/name] Erbe’s long-suffering partner to D’Onofri on L&O: CI. [name]Eamon[/name] is my current name-favorite, too, though, so I’m doubly biased in favor of [name]Eamon[/name] nn [name]Eames[/name] (Ames).
At first glance I pronounce it aims not eems. I like the suggestion of eamon nn eames. I like eamon but I know an eamon so I could never use it, but my current favourite [name]Rowan[/name] (male) sounds great in a sibset with eamon!
