Earthy vintage names

20 weeks pregnant with our third and keeping it a surprise! We have two daughters already, Chava(“hava”-hebrew for Eve) [name_f]Mae[/name_f] & [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_m]Oak[/name_m]. Our oldest is absolutely convinced we are having another girl and our going to name her [name_f]Fern[/name_f]. I actually love [name_f]Fern[/name_f] and its started to feel like this baby’s name despite not even knowing the gender because chava talks about them as ‘fern’ so often, my husband was unsure at first (we had a family dog named fern when he first met our family, this weirdly hasnt bothered me but I can totally understand it being an issue).
I guess I just want some fresh ideas, I always go back to like, the same 5 names we both love (or I love, husband is happy with haha)… [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] (but too close to hazel?), [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Fern[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and rosie (short for either [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] or Rosemary). We love vintagey/earthy names… any thoughts?

I love [name_f]Fern[/name_f]! I think it’s a perfect earthy vintage name. [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] are also great! I do really like [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] as well but agree that it may be too close to [name_f]Hazel[/name_f].

Maybe you would also like:
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] / [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruby[/name_f]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] / [name_f]Freda[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] / [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] for you! [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] for me, but a great choice otherwise.

Seconding [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Ruby[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] / [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], and [name_f]Violet[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Annie[/name_f] for you!
I think you totally could have a [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] along with your [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], but they are similar enough that often you’d be garbling them together (I would anyway)!
