I love it! It’s spunky! It’s something I’ve never thought about, but why not?! If names like [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] and [name_u]Beau[/name_u] are being used for girls, why not [name_m]Eddie[/name_m]?! I also like the thought of the first name [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. It’s very feminine and cutesy to me, so it’s the perfect contrast with a nickname like [name_m]Eddie[/name_m]! I say go for it!

I love [name_m]Eddie[/name_m] as a nn for girls! I think that if [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_u]Andy[/name_u], [name_u]Logan[/name_u], [name_u]Drew[/name_u], [name_u]Dylan[/name_u], and a bunch of others can cross as girl names then [name_m]Eddie[/name_m] can make it! Also I think it’s such a unique choice for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]! [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is such a beautiful name so to just get [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] from it feels sort of blah!

It follows the idea of more unisex/masculine nicknames for feminine names e.g. [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] nn [name_m]Tommie[/name_m], [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] nn [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] nn [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u]. I really like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]!
