[name_f]Eden[/name_f] for a girl - what image does it spark? Sibling name ideas? [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite boy names are [name_m]Abel[/name_m], [name_m]Magnus[/name_m], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] and [name_m]Alder[/name_m], to give you an idea of what I like. Is the sibset combination [name_f]Eden[/name_f] (f) and Abel/Ezra (m) to religious?
Oh I adore [name_f]Eden[/name_f]. It has such a sweet sound and the imagery of the Garden of [name_f]Eden[/name_f] and its symbolism to me is absolutely beautiful. I prefer it as a middle personally but I love meeting little ones with this as a first name too. If you’re not religious, it does seem pretty religious to use something like [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and [name_f]Eden[/name_f] together, but you could maybe use it as a middle? Something like [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Eden[/name_f] or something?
I think [name_f]Eden[/name_f] is a lovely name! It’s soft but still very sturdy and I do think of a lush garden paradise which is no bad thing!
I think [name_f]Eden[/name_f] and [name_m]Abel[/name_m] would definitely read religious to me. [name_f]Eden[/name_f] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] slightly less so because I know quite a few Ezras from non-religious families (and one [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] from a VERY religious family). But I wouldn’t like that they were both E names, if that doesn’t bother you with that pairing then I think you’re good!
[name_f]Eden[/name_f] and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] sound like a super cool set to me, the sort of pair you’d get in a children’s adventure story.
Eden gives me a modern-but-well-established feel, sort of sparkly and sweet but not fussy and flimsy. It’s sort of breezy and cool
Eden and Ezra/Abel do feel like they could come from a religious family but all the names are well used enough that it doesn’t sound too much if that makes sense. And in terms of Eden, it’s more along the lines of Grace or Abilene than Mercy or Hosanna, so it works?
I love Eden and Magnus, Eden and Ezra and Eden and Alder too!

Would that hypothetical set be “too” religious? No. Is it religious at all? Well, yeah. You couldn’t hear/see all of those names together and not think of the Bible. Is this off-putting to you? Are you fundamentally non-religious and don’t want people making those connections? Then I don’t see how you could get around it with that set. Are you religious and you like the connections, but you’re concerned it’s over-the-top? As a practicing [name_m]Christian[/name_m] who sees these kinds of names often, no, I don’t think it’s over-the-top at all. These are names that have a comfortable history of use. The only thing that gives me pause is the connection between the garden of [name_f]Eden[/name_f] and the fact that [name_m]Adam[/name_m] & Eve’s banishment from the garden led to the situation in which [name_m]Cain[/name_m] killed [name_m]Abel[/name_m] (Eden–>Abel, two names you like together–it’s a bit on-the-nose).
Other sibling name ideas for [name_f]Eden[/name_f]:
@Ruthvd I really love [name_f]Eden[/name_f] for a little girl, and it’s a name I would absolutely use myself. Your choices for sibling names with [name_f]Eden[/name_f] are not too religious at all to me. In fact, I love that theme. I do prefer [name_f]Eden[/name_f] + [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] to [name_f]Eden[/name_f] + [name_m]Abel[/name_m], but that is personal taste.
Of your other choices, my favorites are:
[name_f]Eden[/name_f] + [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] +
[name_f]Eden[/name_f] + [name_m]Adler[/name_m]
