I like both [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilly[/name_f]. I flip between the two all the time! I dislike all other variants. I actually find [name_f]Lilly[/name_f] more visually appealing but question whether or not the second L is necessary.
I actually prefer [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. It’s weird because normally I’d be like, add another L or an IE or make it [name_f]Lilianna[/name_f]!
I don’t really like word names, either. The fact that I like the name [name_f]Lily[/name_f] at all, let alone with a simple spelling, is very unlike me! Lol
I spell it [name_f]Lily[/name_f], like the flower and word. Other than a few rare exceptions (e.g. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]) I’m personally not a fan of “misspelled” word names. It takes away from its meaning for me.
I have a niece called [name_f]Lily[/name_f] so naturally thats the way I’d spell it. I think when they first announced the name though I assumed they’d spell it [name_f]Lilly[/name_f], but preferred that they called her [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
I actually really like it spelt [name_f]Lillie[/name_f] - I enjoy ie names.
