I loved this part of middle school. My egg was named [name]Dora[/name] Katriel. I still think [name]Dora[/name] is sweet, Katriel not so much.
We weren’t allowed to actually have ours in school. We picked them at the end of the day, and at the beginning of the next day we dropped them off again. I had mine over a weekend, so [name]William[/name] came to basketball games, the mall and even out to dinner.
We did flour babies (10 pound sacks) in my science class back in the day (late 90s). I named mine [name]Lily[/name] and helped a friend choose [name]Violet[/name] for his … since they’re made of flour, get it? I was a witty 13 yr old.
Oh, I love your choice!
They are all very cute name choices!
I love [name]Ren[/name] for a boy!
I think I had to do the egg and the sack of flour at different points. I don’t remember what I named the flour, but the egg I named after my boyfriend at the time, [name]Brandon[/name], who I pretended was its “daddy”.
I always wanted to do this, but I went to a Catholic school that probably would have been mortified to even suggest such an activity, afraid that the girls would be excited to do it. The high tech sensor babies sound intimidating, maybe I should try my hand at one of those first even all these years later!
