Thank you for all your suggestions. I have narrowed the list down to just a few names that I actually really like. What do you all think? Which is your favorite?
[name_m]Edan[/name_m] Kirkson Hayne
Eddan Kirkson Hayne
Which spelling is better? Does [name_m]Danny[/name_m] work as a nickname? because I feel like [name_m]Danny[/name_m] is super cute for [name_m]Edan[/name_m].
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Kirk[/name_m] [name_m]Hansen[/name_m] - I think this is so handsome but I don’t know if I’m in love with it.
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_m]Kirk[/name_m] Haynes/Hayne - [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] will always be one of my favorite names for a boy, I just don’t know if I love this combo.
[name_m]Ewan[/name_m] Kirkson [name_m]Hunter[/name_m] - This one feels a little clunky to me but I actually love the name [name_m]Hunter[/name_m]. [name_m]Hunter[/name_m] was the name of my crush in high school though, so I feel like it might be a little weird to use it as I’m kind of still friends with him. LOL! Thoughts?
[name_m]Ewan[/name_m] is my favourite overall, though I think I’d like [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] [name_m]Kirk[/name_m] [name_m]Haynes[/name_m] a little more?
[name_m]Edan[/name_m] Kirkson Hayne is very cool too and [name_m]Danny[/name_m] is sweet for it too!
[name_f]Love[/name_f] the flow of [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Kirk[/name_m] [name_m]Hansen[/name_m] too
[name_m]Ewan[/name_m] Kirkson [name_m]Hunter[/name_m] is so handsome, and is definitely my favorite of your list! If you’re worried about the [name_m]Hunter[/name_m] association you could always switch it out for [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] Kirkson [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] or a different H name?
[name_f]My[/name_f] runner up would be [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Kirk[/name_m] [name_m]Hansen[/name_m], but [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_m]Kirk[/name_m] [name_m]Haynes[/name_m] is great too!
I prefer the more straightforward spelling of [name_m]Edan[/name_m], and [name_m]Danny[/name_m] works perfectly as a nickname!
[name_m]Edan[/name_m] is super handsome, and [name_m]Danny[/name_m] could work just fine as a nickname. I feel [name_m]Edan[/name_m] and Eddan could be pronounced differently, long e vs. short e.
It is also quite close to [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] depending on how you’re pronouncing it, would that help or hinder your decision? Are you set on using [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] eventually? [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_m]Kirk[/name_m] sounds great to me, but if you’re not feeling it, don’t settle.
[name_m]Hunter[/name_m] is great, but the crush you’re still in contact with is a no from me.
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_m]Kirk[/name_m] [name_m]Haynes[/name_m] is my favorite! It’s got great flow! I love the 2-1-1 syllable count, it rolls right off the tongue!
[name_f]My[/name_f] second favorite is [name_m]Edan[/name_m] Kirkson Hayne, but it sounds like an abrupt ending to me, so I’d maybe change it just a smidge - [name_m]Edan[/name_m] Kirkson [name_m]Haynes[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Danny[/name_m] is a perfectly usable and absolutely adorable nickname as well! Also, I definitely prefer [name_m]Edan[/name_m] to Eddan. [name_m]Edan[/name_m] is more straight forward, easily spelled, and probably won’t encounter mispronunciation.
I’d definitely avoid using Hunter for the reasons you said, but that’s me personally. If you’re seriously considering it I would ask daddy how he feels about it / if it bothers him.
