I prefer the simplicity of [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] is pretty, though.
[name_m]How[/name_m] funny! I’ve had the same conundrum and came up with exactly the same combo you have on your poll - [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. Glorious.
So when I was pondering this I decided in favour of [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but I know people named [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and it is also very popular. [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] has the strength of [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] with that lovely sepia Victorian tinge and a more feminine, jaunty -ora ending. Also, as you noted, it’s off the charts. And there are more possibilities for nicknames - [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] makes [name_f]Nora[/name_f] more intuitive [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
I don’t think it’s out there at all. As in, at all. Everyone knows [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - and this is just [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] with an a on the end. Easy to explain. The spelling shouldn’t be an issue for anyone who’s familiar with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. I really don’t think you need to worry about its being too unusual since it’s so close to such a classic name.
I think [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] has just that ‘sweet spot’ difference that makes a name distinctive and unique without being weird or causing problems.
I prefer [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] as a name but think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] goes better.
Sorry, not much help I know 
I’m a huge fan of the classics. I think at the end of the day I’d go with [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. But I also like other [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] variations like [name_f]Leonora[/name_f]!
I want to choose [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] for the rarity of it.
But I’m also not a nickname person and prefer when someone goes by their full name. So I get wary with longer names that they would get called [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Nora[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Lenora[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is too choppy [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] for the rarity of it and because it has [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] in it.
