Depends what language I’m speaking/ what the person has told me to call them but either the first or the second one.
I prefer the first one, which is definitely the more Spanish sounding pronunciation but the second doesn’t bother me in the slightest.
I don’t see the third pronunciation at all. Maybe if it were spelled [name_f]Elina[/name_f] or [name_f]Ilina[/name_f] but not if it’s [name_f]Elena[/name_f].
[name_f]El[/name_f]-eh-nuh. Its my bff name and she is Greek. I prefer that pronounciation.
I’ve always heard it pronounced Eh-[name_m]LAY[/name_m]-nuh.
I say eh-LEH:-nah, so it sounds kinda like [name_f]Elayna[/name_f], but not quite.
I use either the first or second pronunciation (never the third). I prefer the eh-LEH-nuh pronunciation myself though.
The correct pronunciation is [name_f]El[/name_f]-eh-nuh.
E-lay-nuh would be spelt [name_f]Elaina[/name_f] or [name_f]Elayna[/name_f].
E-lee-nuh would be [name_f]Eleena[/name_f] or [name_f]Aleena[/name_f]
