Elena vs Elaina

As an honor of Helen. I know Elena is the more common variation but there’s something about the way Elaina is spelled that just stands out for me.

(Sister would be, of course, Isla)

I actually prefer the spelling [name_f]Elaina[/name_f] more in general - but as an honor name, I would stick with [name_f]Elena[/name_f].

With me [name_f]Elena[/name_f] is pronounced eh-LEHN-ah, if you want uh-LAYN-uh I’d go with [name_f]Elaina[/name_f], or even [name_f]Alaina[/name_f] (the most common spelling for that prn where I live)

I prefer [name_f]Elena[/name_f] - sleeker and sweet - but [name_f]Elaina[/name_f] is nice too
