So we recently found out that baby #2 was a boy. I was convinced, and seriously hoping, that it was a girl so I haven’t thought much about boy names at all since getting pregnant. I’m trying to perk up a bit here and move forward more positive so it’s time to name this baby boy.
[name_m]Eli[/name_m] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] have been our top two contenders for awhile now and we recently added [name_m]Levi[/name_m] to the short list. We also had [name_m]Henry[/name_m] on the short list but nixed it because our son [name_m]Jack[/name_m]'s middle name is [name_m]Heinrich[/name_m].
I actually really like all 3. But I like [name_m]Levi[/name_m] the best with [name_m]Jack[/name_m] as siblings.
[name_m]Eli[/name_m] would be my second choice.
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] is a fine name, it’s my ex fiancés name, and I’ve always liked how exotic it sounds. Because of that I do not think it is the right fit with classic [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Heinrich[/name_m] is such a fun name!
Also, I know what you mean about being convinced. I was/am in the opposite situation. I already had one girl my last pregnancy and was convinced that [name_f]Anna[/name_f] was a boy. We were happy she was healthy when we found out but could help but be a little bummed. We wanted to get boy things seeing as we already had girly things. Now we couldn’t imagine it any other way! We are due at the end of the year with baby number 3 and won’t be finding out the gender before hand and have a boy and girl named chosen before hand. If we end up with 3 girls and no boys we will be happy!
[name_m]Levi[/name_m] would be my first choice, [name_m]Eli[/name_m] my second choice. I am not fond of [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. I love [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and I think [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m] make a wonderful sibling set.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_m]Leo[/name_m]… in my own top 5 for a future son. But I love the sound of [name_m]Eli[/name_m] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m]! All 3 are great actually.
1 [name_m]Leo[/name_m] - the name has the same spunky vibe as [name_m]Jack[/name_m]
2 [name_m]Eli[/name_m] - a strong name of just three letters
3 [name_m]Levi[/name_m] - I don’t have any attachment to this name.
This is tough, all three choices go great with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. Since I have to choose I am going to say go for [name_m]Levi[/name_m], I think it sounds great with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. Plus, it’s handsome.
I like [name_m]Levi[/name_m] with [name_m]Jack[/name_m], though our current bun in the oven will probably be an [name_m]Eli[/name_m], so obviously I like that name too.
I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m]… But for some reason I really don’t care for it with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. I can’t quite figure out why. Titanic? ([name_m]Leo[/name_m] Dicaprio played [name_m]Jack[/name_m]…)… It is probably just me.
I’ve always been a huge fan of all [name_m]Leo[/name_m] names – [name_m]Leonard[/name_m], [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m], [name_f]Leonie[/name_f], [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] – so [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is definitely my top choice.
Nothing wrong with [name_m]Eli[/name_m] or [name_m]Levi[/name_m], but [name_m]Levi[/name_m] always makes me think of jeans (though that’s not necessarily a bad association).
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] would be my first choice, mainly because of the sound and style. Sounds lively, modern and old at the same time. For a short name it has a strong, complete side to it that is rare for names that can also be nicknames. I also love big cats and astronomical names. [name_f]Every[/name_f] angle of [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is adorable and attractive.
[name_m]Levi[/name_m] is neat too but not as interesting in my opinion. Not crazy about [name_m]Eli[/name_m].
Wow, I really like all 3. (They’re all on my list as well)
I think any of them could go well with [name_m]Jack[/name_m], but I feel like [name_m]Levi[/name_m] is the most relaxed and might fit best. Followed by [name_m]Leo[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Eli[/name_m], but it’s not as easy going as [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]! [name_m]Levi[/name_m] is all right but not interesting to me. I like [name_m]Eli[/name_m], but it’s very popular where I live. [name_m]Leo[/name_m] just sounds very friendly and easy-going to me, plus it has cool associations. I bet a little boy would love having a name that means “lion” and looking in the night sky for the constellation with his name.
I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m], and I’m not too keen on the others. I love the lion association of [name_m]Leo[/name_m], and I think it sounds the cutest with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]
