Is [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]ELI[/name_m]-ASS or [name_f]ELLE[/name_f]-US. Iv heard people pronouncing it [name_f]ELLE[/name_f]-US several time but not heard the first one. This may seem a silly question so I apologise.

If I heard elle-us, I’d think their name was [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] not [name_u]Elias[/name_u].
