Elias

Ok, is it just me or does anyone else want to spell [name_u]Elias[/name_u] with two Ls. [name_m]Ellias[/name_m].
Would it change the way you pronounce it?
Itll be a middle name to my boy twin.

I’m not a huge fan, it looks like a trendy mix of [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_u]Elias[/name_u]. I think it would be constantly misspelled.

I actually just put it in a few different how to pronounce websites. They are not the same.
So [name_u]Elias[/name_u] it is.

To me [name_m]Ellias[/name_m] would be pronounced elle-ee-us, not eh-lie-us.

It’s alright but I pronounce [name_u]Elias[/name_u] ee-lie-is and [name_m]Ellias[/name_m] elee-is

I switch between pronouncing it as ee-lie-us and eh-lie-us. The double LL would throw me off.

I prefer the [name_u]Elias[/name_u] spelling. I don’t pronounce [name_m]Ellias[/name_m] the same way as [name_u]Elias[/name_u].

I’d pronounce them slightly differently- ell-ee-us and e-lie-us

I prefer [name_u]Elias[/name_u] but [name_m]Ellias[/name_m] is nice too

I like [name_u]Elias[/name_u]! I would say [name_u]Elias[/name_u] with the frost two sounds of [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], and I would say [name_u]Elias[/name_u] with the first two sounds of [name_u]Elliot[/name_u].
