Elijah?

What do you think of [name]Elijah[/name], as a middle name, for a girl?

I think uni-sex or boys names are fine to use with a girl if you are using a definitely girl first name. I know a [name]Jorja[/name] [name]James[/name]. I like it! What first name are you putting with it? Does the name [name]Elijah[/name] have meaning for you or do you just like it?

If you’re honoring an [name]Elijah[/name] who you’re very close to, I think it’s a great idea. If you just like the sound, I think it’s a bit ridiculous, no offense.

I would probably use it with [name]Scarlett[/name] or [name]Lorelei[/name], which I see as strong, super feminine names. In school I studied western religion, and like the idea using biblical names somewhere in my childern’s names. But beyond that, I would say I “just like it” as I am not intending to honor a specific [name]Elijah[/name] from my life (such as a grandfather or friend). I too have seen and liked the use of [name]James[/name] as a girl’s mn.

No offense taken, I started this thread so I could get honest feedback

I’m not a big fan of it. I don’t know why, I usually find boys names ending in “a” sounds to be overly feminine, but for some reason I can’t imagine [name]Elijah[/name] as a girls name. I don’t think the name is spunky enough to have the tomboy appeal that [name]Jorja[/name] [name]James[/name] has. I do love [name]Eliza[/name] which sounds pretty similar and is a girls name, but probably not what you’re going for? Good [name]Luck[/name]
