Currently TTC no 3 and can’t work out if I prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] or [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] nn elsie. Two boys currently [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] nn [name_m]Freddie[/name_m].
I like [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] more than [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], so I’d say [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]!
Both are great but Elisabeth nn Elsie is darling
Both spellings are beautiful. I believe [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is more intuitive but [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is traditional is multiple languages as well. I love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Elisa[/name_f]. I’m not crazy about [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], however, both spellings can work with your nickname options. I actually think it is fun to use multiple nicknames! That being said, I would go with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. But if you love [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], please use it!
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] “Eliza” is my vote! It’s the more intuitive spelling imo, and you could still get the nickname [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] if you really wanted to. I also like that the nickname [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] gives each child their own individual ending (not repeating the -ie with [name_m]Freddie[/name_m] & Elsie).
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Arthur[/name_m] & [name_m]Freddie[/name_m] are so cute! [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] feels perfect for their little sister. [name_f][/name_f] I have some thoughts…
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] looks more classic and will just be easier. [name_f][/name_f] If you had a strong preference for [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], I’d say go for it and it’s worth the slight annoyance that people may assume it’s [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] at first. [name_f][/name_f] But since you seem okay with either spelling, I’d definitely go with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f] This all being said, I much prefer [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] to [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] (Eliza is still a fun name.) [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is so so lovable & perfect with your boys’ names. [name_f][/name_f] I don’t see any reason why you can’t do [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] though. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] does seem weird though for some reason, so I get that one.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Hope[/name_f] my rambling helps.
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]! So adorable, & goes perfectly with the boys’ names.
I prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a beautiful, elegant name that has strong regal and biblical history. I love how the Z looks sandwiched in the middle of this name she’s just visually fun. Also I do believe that [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is more intuitive. Regarding the nickname [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] feels spunky and homespun so I am fan of this nickname. However [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is endearing and I do believe [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] can work as a nickname for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is an adorable nickname! I like [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] for that reason.
I’ve always liked the softness of [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], but both [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] are great nicknames and I feel like you could use either one no matter what spelling you went with!
Elizabeth/Eliza!
What a conundrum! [name_f][/name_f] I prefer [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] to [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] to [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]! [name_f][/name_f] To be honest, I think you could use [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] or [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], so I think I’d opt for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and pick the nickname you feel suits her best when the time comes? [name_f][/name_f] But for what it’s worth, I’m team [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
I prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] so by default I’m going with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]! I think it feels cohesive with your boys too, if that matters
I prefer the look of [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] but as with a PP, k think all the nicknames are available to [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (Eliza, [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], Zabby) & not necessarily for [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]. If you’re thinking for eg you might use [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] when she’s young, and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] as she heads off to school or later, would choose [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. But if you’re hoping for [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] (Elsa, Sisi) only, then [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f].
I personally prefer the softer look of [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
I prefer Elisabeth as it is a family name and spelling. It also looks softer and more welcoming. I like the variants Libby, Lily, Elyssia, Elyse and Beth.
I prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] because it seems more familiar to me and I like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] as a nickname. [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is great though and can have [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] or similar more easily as a nickname
Usually I prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but with brothers’ names and potential nickname [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], I think I prefer [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] here!
I love both spellings! [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] feels more classic and spunkier while [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is romantic and melodic. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is full of wit and cleverness while [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is sweet and spunky.
