[name_f]Elise[/name_f] - is it a nickname for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or a full name, what do you think? :? :? :?
Full name. It’s so lovely so short.
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] can stand on its own as a full name.
Full name for sure! I love [name_f]Elise[/name_f].
Full name!
I completely agree with the previous posters:)
Full name! I really love the name [name_f]Elise[/name_f].
Full name. I’ve never met an [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]/[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] who went by [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. I really like it on its own, but I prefer other nicknames for [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]/[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
Definitely a full name. Its a variation of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] rather than a diminutive.
It can stand on its own, but I prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]/[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] to [name_f]Elise[/name_f].
I agree with everyone else, it’s a version of [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] rather than a nickname for it. (But, you could still use it as a nickname if you wanted to.)
Oh, [name_f]Elise[/name_f] can most definitely stand on its own. I personally prefer it as a middle name. [name_f]Cate[/name_f] Blanchett’s full name is [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] Blanchett and I think it’s an absolutely breathtaking combination of names - so ethereal and elegant.
Agreed. While I would use a fuller form for the similar [name_u]Elisee[/name_u] or [name_f]Lise[/name_f], I think [name_f]Elise[/name_f] works fine on its own. It’s lovely.
