Thanks to all for your replies. It’s interesting that [name]Jill[/name] and [name]Lemon[/name] has 4 names in common.[name]Emmeline[/name],[name]Julia[/name],[name]Lydia[/name] and [name]Susannah[/name] all have that oomph that [name]Eliza[/name] has in abundance. If I was to rate them for oomphibility I would say.[name]Emmeline[/name]=8 It’s unheard of where I live so I think it’s this fact coupled with it’s old world feel and familiar sound that give it that edge.[name]Julia[/name]=5/6 [name]Julia[/name] has the old fashioned classical feel of [name]Eliza[/name] but where [name]Eliza[/name] is probably a 10 on oomph [name]Julia[/name] to me is much lower.[name]Lydia[/name],now lydia is The name which comes right up to [name]Eliza[/name] for spunk imo.[name]Lydia[/name] is beautiful sounding, accomplished and totally in control and it has an equal amount if not more oomph than [name]Eliza[/name].[name]Shame[/name] it’s my 4 year olds second name,I’m not sure if I could use it again as a first name. Finally [name]Susannah[/name],I never would have thought of this one. Now that I think of it yes, I would prob. give the venerable [name]Susannah[/name] a 7 ,too generous, too mean ?WDYT? To [name]Myra[/name] and [name]Gaia[/name] I loved the suggestions of [name]Elsa[/name] and [name]Zara[/name],[name]Zara[/name] for me probably lacks the classic feel and substance of [name]Eliza[/name],but it is pretty, and [name]Elsa[/name] is a nice relaxed version of [name]Eliza[/name].I think the [name]Mariska[/name] ,[name]Eliska[/name],[name]Phaedra[/name] and [name]Ingrid[/name] ideas are wonderful and they have great ‘get up and go’. [name]Lyra[/name] is also strong and spunky-I like it! Thanks again. BTW are [name]Mariska[/name] and [name]Eliska[/name] eastern european?

[name]Mariska[/name] is the Hungarian diminutive of [name]Maria[/name], but I’m not sure where the other name comes from. Good [name]Luck[/name]!

I think [name]Ramona[/name] is a spunky name with a lot of character and a pleasing sound, like [name]Eliza[/name]. Good luck!
