[name]Eliza[/name] is adorable, but [name]Aliza[/name] would probably get pronounced like [name]Eliza[/name]. However, if you love the name, I don’t think it’s so crazy that you shouldn’t do it. Maybe you could keep the A spelling, but pronounce it like [name]Eliza[/name]? (I know a girl named Aislynn that pronounces it [name]Ace[/name]-linn instead of [name]Ash[/name]-linn.) I don’t like [name]Natalie[/name] with either.
Other possibilites:
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Kate[/name]
Ok forget [name]Natalie[/name] as the middle name. I like [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Kate[/name]…I also like [name]Rose[/name] but do you think it’s too popular?
I love [name]Eliza[/name]! Also, I agree with Quirkflower that it’s likely for [name]Aliza[/name] to get pronounced like [name]Eliza[/name].
For middle names, I love [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Jane[/name]! [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Kate[/name] is also nice, but I prefer the former. I think [name]Rose[/name] is too popular as a middle name (underused as a first, though!) and both [name]Eliza[/name] and [name]Rose[/name] share the z/s sounds.
There is an adorable folk song sung by [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Mitchell[/name] entitled [name]Liza[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. I’d love to have an [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Jane[/name] just so I could sing it to her.
I know it’s not on here, but I am planning on naming my daughter [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Kay[/name]. I love it. [name]Just[/name] wanted to throw it out there…
I always thought [name]Eliza[/name] was pronounced ee-LYE-zuh, because that’s how my English teacher pronounced it when we were reading Pygmalion…but I guess ah-LYE-zuh works too. However, I do agree that [name]Aliza[/name] will probably be pronounced like [name]Eliza[/name], and I don’t think [name]Natalie[/name] works very well as a middle name. Also, overall, I prefer [name]Eliza[/name] as opposed to [name]Aliza[/name].
Some combos: * indicates one that I [name]LOVE[/name]
Hhi! Here’s another vote for [name]Eliza[/name] over [name]Aliza[/name]. From your new middles, [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is my favorite! I think it’s amazing!
Oh! One other tidbit, if you like [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name], the protaganists in Pride and Prejudice are [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Jane[/name]. Wouldn’t it be nice for your little girl to grow up to read about those lovely ladies?
[name]Eliza[/name] definitely, but I don’t think that [name]Natalie[/name] goes as a second name. I think [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] sounds cute, though.
