I am pregnant with boy/girl twins and would love some name ideas. For girls, my husband and I like elegant, timeless/non-trendy, and easy to spell names. Our daughter’s name is [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], so something along those lines. For boys we are really struggling - we want something common enough to spell easily, but not super common so there are three boys in the same class with that name. Ideally, they will all have their own first initial. Here is our current list, but I’d love if you could contribute some ideas!

I love your naming style - with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] I would go for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. Both well known enough to not cause spelling or pronunciation issues - but not overly popular either xx

Thoughts on your lists…
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is a lovely vintage name, but it seems to be having a moment right now and doesn’t feel as classic as [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I think you need something that feels like a traditional classic and not something that fits a name category.
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] - I think [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] is a lovely Old Testament and it would be lovely to link the two sister names by using another bible choice. Also [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] has the pretty nickname ‘pleasantness’, it’s a great choice.
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] - She’s so classic and because of this stylistically she works fantastically well with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Also she has the lovely nickname [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]. [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is so effortless.
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] - My sister’s name is [name_f]Helen[/name_f] I have never liked this name (but I love my sister more than anything) so I have always thought of using the name [name_f]Helena[/name_f] to honour. [name_f]Helena[/name_f] is just elegant and pretty that ‘a’ makes such a difference! [name_f]Helena[/name_f] & [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is lovely.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] - It’s a lovely botanical name. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a classic and therefore works with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] but visually I don’t think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] looks that great. I would look at [name_f]Rose[/name_f] variants which could look visually better such as [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f].
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] - This is such a pretty name with a wonderful meaning ‘the golden one’ but I do think this name is out there compared to [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. However I think as you’ve loved this name for a while I wonder whether you’d consider it being a middle name for a classic like [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] for example.
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] - I have never liked this name I find it harsh in sound. Another gemstone option could be [name_f]Opal[/name_f] or [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]?
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - It’s a pretty Greek name with a range of interesting connotations it’s a great choice. However I am not keen on [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] as a sister name for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] - [name_m]Ah[/name_m] sorry for the negativity but I am not keen on this name.

[name_m]Marshall[/name_m] - It’s a cool occupational surname choice. [name_m]Marshall[/name_m] feels handsome and is a strong choice. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_m]Marshall[/name_m] sound great together even though [name_m]Marshall[/name_m] feels slightly cooler than [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] - I have never liked the name [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] I have always found it unattractive and all I hear is the word wheezing which isn’t handsome at all. I really dislike this name.
[name_m]Simon[/name_m] - Another fabulous biblical name, it’s a simple classic and just sounds really appealing. I think [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] works really well with [name_m]Simon[/name_m] it’s so classy. [name_m]Simon[/name_m] & [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] would be a lovely twin combination.
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] - It’s such a classic name! [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is gorgeous I have always been a fan of this name. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] has a lovely sound and is just an easy choice. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] stylistically works great with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. Also love the twin set [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] & [name_m]Henry[/name_m] so classic.
[name_m]Liam[/name_m] - Another fabulous choice, [name_m]Liam[/name_m] is a lovely Irish name but for me I think [name_m]Liam[/name_m] is too short and almost informal for a sister named [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. However I would suggest [name_m]William[/name_m] with the nickname [name_m]Liam[/name_m]. [name_m]William[/name_m] stylistically works with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] but you’d still get the nickname [name_m]Liam[/name_m].
