Which do you prefer and why?
[name_f]Ella[/name_f], nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] – because [name_f]Ella[/name_f] feels more complete to me.
I prefer [name_f]Ella[/name_f]! Despite the popularity is still feels so sweet and fresh and sparkly to me… like a fairy name
i much prefer ella, ellie just doesn’t sound right. it’s the ee sound next to the l sound. same issue with felix and amelia.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f], because it is more of a name. [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] to me is a nn and not one I like.
I prefer [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Elinor[/name_f], [name_f]Eluned[/name_f], etc.
I prefer Ellie! It sounds much sweeter and spunkier, and to me it feels more timeless than Ella.
I personally prefer [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], for no reason other than I have an irrational dislike of [name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]! Ages beautifully.
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] cause its adorable
Ella! She feels more elegant.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] - nice meaning and a clear, bright sound. Also taught the sweetest of kids called [name_f]Ella[/name_f] so that helps
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]. I think its prettier, ages better, and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] feels super trendy right now. Between all the just Ellies and all the Eleanor/Eliana/Elena/Eloise/Elizabeth/etc. that go by [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] its really popular.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] !
[name_f]Ella[/name_f], but I like [name_f]Elle[/name_f] best with nickname [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]! [name_f]Pretty[/name_f], sparkling name. [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is cute, and can always be used as a nn for [name_f]Ella[/name_f]!
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]!
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] just feels so warm and jazzy, probably because of [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_m]Fitzgerald[/name_m]. I adore this name! [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] feels too awkward, even though I’m not opposed to it, like what @sandpiper said!
I prefer [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]! It seems happy-go-luck and bright. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] seems a bit blah.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]. She can always choose to go by [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] later on!
I guess [name_f]Ella[/name_f] has always seemed more elegant & soft to me – more my personal taste. Fairy-like, like someone said!

[name_f]Ella[/name_f]! It feels more like a full name, I think. I also love the [name_m]Fitzgerald[/name_m] and [name_f]Cinderella[/name_f] associations.
