Ella

[name]Do[/name] you think [name]Ella[/name] is too popular? I loved [name]Ella[/name] when I was younger, it was my all time favourite but for some reason I fell out of love with it. I’m finding myself drawn to it again but it’s gained a lot of popularity since then! [name]Do[/name] you know anyone named [name]Ella[/name], if so how old are they?

What middle name would you give [name]Ella[/name]?

I love the name [name]Ella[/name], just love it! I would never use it though, it’s way too popular. Plus with all the names that can have [name]Ella[/name] as a nickname, they all add up. Plus with [name]Bella[/name] being so popular, it’s just not somehting I want my child to deal with. I have always thought about using it as a middle name though. It really is beautiful, and if popularity doesn’t bother you, I’d go for it!

It’s a gorgeous name. Popularity doesn’t bother me if I like a name. If it bothers you, you can always name her something else and call her [name]Ella[/name].

[name]Elena[/name] lends itself quite well to the nickname [name]Ella[/name].

It’s very pretty, though I prefer the stripped down [name]Elle[/name]. I do know quite a few in my daughter’s age group, so it would be a no-go for me. Something like [name]Elena[/name], [name]Eleni[/name] or even [name]Elizabeth[/name] could work well if you want her to have flexibility.

I actually don’t know any [name]Ella[/name]'s but I know a lot of girls in the 0-4 range with names that nn to [name]Ella[/name] ([name]Gabriella[/name], [name]Elenora[/name] etc).

I love [name]Ella[/name]!! As popular as it is I still think its gorgeous. I’m using [name]Elena[/name] NN [name]Ella[/name] but I think it works fine on its own.

It’s a popular name but still a beautiful name. I know two [name]Ella[/name]'s, a 4 year old and 1.5 year old. Middle names are [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Grace[/name].

I don’t know any [name]Ella[/name]'s personally. If you like it you should use the name regardless of popularity.

It’s too popular for me but it is very pretty. I don’t think popularity should stop you from using a name unless it just really bothers you.

I know four girls named [name]Ella[/name]. [name]One[/name] is 9, one is 5, one is 3 and the other is around 20 months. It’s pretty popular, but pretty none the less. [name]Ella[/name] [name]Diane[/name] would be my pick.

I love [name]Ella[/name]! [name]Isabelle[/name] is my top choice for a girl, and [name]Ella[/name]'s much too close to that, so I probably will never use it, but I do love it (and I keep it in the back of my head as a potential nn, should I ever get to have a little [name]Isabelle[/name]!). Honestly, I don’t think anything is too popular for me. I was a shy kid and loved having a popular name, and popular names these days are given a lot less frequently than when I was a kid in the 90s. So while there may be a lot of Ellas, it’s really not a LOT of Ellas, if that makes sense. And it’s a lovely name.

I love [name]Ella[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] (especially for the nn [name]Ella[/name] [name]Cate[/name]/[name]Ella[/name] [name]Kate[/name]!) and [name]Ella[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], personally. I love the idea of [name]Ella[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Lior[/name] and [name]Ella[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] as a two-MN combo.

ETA: As for knowing an [name]Ella[/name], I really don’t. There was a little girl (age 4?) who visited my church several months ago, but she’s really the only [name]Ella[/name] I’ve ever come across in real life.

Ahhhh, [name]Ella[/name]. I love [name]Ella[/name]. I think it’s probably too popular for me to use, unfortunately, but oh how I love it. I was slightly turned off, though, when I heard a mother in my neighborhood calling after 3 little girls (who were clearly friends, not siblings), “[name]Ella[/name], [name]Emma[/name], [name]Anna[/name]!” I couldn’t stop myself from groaning out loud. All names I love (and have loved since way before I was having kids) that are sadly way too popular for me to use. I still haven’t gotten over it. :frowning:

[name]Love[/name] [name]Ella[/name]! I know a 2 year old named [name]Ella[/name] [name]Ashlynne[/name]. I know of a few other toddler [name]Ella[/name]'s, as well. A favorite boys name of mine is [name]Jackson[/name] [name]Alexander[/name], and both are pretty popular. Popularity doesn’t bug me if I really like a name. I say if you like it that much, use it.

[name]Love[/name] the name [name]Ella[/name]! I also really like [name]Elle[/name]. I would use [name]Ella[/name] if you love it, I don’t hear it around like some of the top names. I also like a lot of names that lend itself to the nn [name]Ella[/name], so maybe that would be an option for you as well. [name]Ella[/name] on her own is great too.

I love [name]Ella[/name]. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I know quite a few [name]Ellie[/name]'s, [name]Elizabeth[/name]'s, and [name]Elena[/name]'s but I don’t know any [name]Ella[/name]'s.

[name]Ella[/name] is a pretty name, but I feel it’s more like a nickname than a full name.
I like it as a nn for [name]Elizabeth[/name].

[name]Ella[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name]

[name]Ella[/name] [name]Meredith[/name]
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Brianne[/name]
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Brynn[/name]
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Ella[/name] [name]Simone[/name]

I love [name]Ella[/name] too. It’s such a darling name! Sweet, simple, classy.
