Elliot Blake

I honestly don’t think it’s too masculine for a girl. But if you want you can do [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Briar[/name_u] to make it a bit more feminine

Maybe [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u]? [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] sounds a but more feminine than [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]. [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] and [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] are both stunning

I think [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] is a little too masculine for a girl. What do you think of [name_u]Blakely[/name_u]? It’s a feminine name, but it’s not frilly.

It feels very masculine to me, but it is a very nice combo and you should use it if it’s the name you really love.

[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] seem like a brother set at first glance, though [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] does and can work well on a girl. However, I do think [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] seems very masculine. [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or something like that might soften it up and appear more feminine.

In the end though, if your baby is [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u], she’ll wear it well! If you love the name, use it

I would assume she was a boy if I just heard the name, but it’s definitely wearable for a girl. I like it! I’d stick with [name_u]Blake[/name_u], though.

[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] is completely neutral to me!! Absolutely love it with [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_u]Jay[/name_u]

At a glance, I would assume [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] is a boy but I suppose I wouldn’t be shocked to find out she’s a girl. I personally much prefer these names for a boy.

I do think [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] would benefit from being paired with a clearly feminine middle name. [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is adorable and sounds similar to [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u]. I also like that [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] can be shortened to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].

If you’re looking for a similar combo to [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] then I’d like to suggest [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Drew[/name_u], [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Reece[/name_u], [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Rae[/name_u], [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Shay[/name_u].

I’d assume Elliot’s a boy at first (idk if that’s a problem for you) but other than that, I love love love both names (on both genders) and seeing boys’ names on girls!

I don’t think it’s too masculine at all. I don’t know where you’re at, but in the US, [name_u]Blake[/name_u] was ranked number 210 for boys and 219 for girls, which is incredibly even, putting it firmly in the gender neutral category (probably leaning feminine if you account for alternative spellings). Switching the spelling would make it decidedly feminine, though personally I prefer not to do that.

Anecdotally, I only know two little Elliots and they’re both girls. I see [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] as completely gender neutral and think it would be so nice on a little girl!

I love [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] for a little girl. The nickname [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is super sweet! [name_u]Blake[/name_u] is also very gorgeous, but if you’d prefer something more feminine maybe consider [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blair[/name_u] :relaxed:

[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is actually on our short list for if we decide to go with something feminine!

I am in the US. I’ve not seen a girl [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] in person but have seen a girl [name_u]Campbell[/name_u], [name_m]Ferris[/name_m], [name_m]Abel[/name_m], [name_u]Collins[/name_u], [name_u]Blake[/name_u] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], and [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_m]David[/name_m] so I definitely think boys names for girls is a bit more common in our region!

I land here.
I do really like @Strawberry.Bunny’s suggestion of Elliot Briar, though! It would read more feminine to me, and I like the rhythm of the combo, plus I’ve just been liking Briar a lot lately.

That would be an adorable choice!

I would assume [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] was a boy but would not be surprised to find out she was a girl and think [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] works well on both. This combo seems very unisex and usable for both genders. I really like the sound of [name_u]Blake[/name_u] in the middle, it has a really nice flow. I also like the previous suggestion of [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f].

[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] is a great name !

If this was on my role call I’d probably assume boy, but could easily correct my assumption. Particularly because the only real-life [name_u]Blake[/name_u] I know (of) is a friend’s niece, actually (plus [name_u]Blake[/name_u] Lively). And though I have only met boy Elliots, I know it is used for girls too. I think these names pair well together and I like them both. There’s a larger sociological context of names moving from masculine to feminine/unisex usage but hardly ever the other way around that bothers me, but that’s nothing against the actual name! And I also see some real benefits to giving children gender-neutral names! Would you consider [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] for a son, too? The names do pair nicely together!

Anyways, if you are interested in considering a traditionally feminine middle name for [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], here are a few that share some sounds with [name_u]Blake[/name_u]:

[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Kaia[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Kayla[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] Béa (Bay-uh)
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Anouk[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] Ailey (ay-lee)
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Ayla[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Elka[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_f]Alba[/name_f]

I would 101% assume boy.

I would probably guess that it’s a boy’s name, but that doesn’t mean it’s not suitable for a girl. For what it’s worth, [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_u]Blake[/name_u] are my preferred spellings of those names, and I don’t think changing the spelling is necessary.
