Elodie pronunciation

Ella-dee (like the [name_f]Melody[/name_f] without the M, or [name_f]Ella[/name_f] D.)
L-O-D (like just saying the letters)

Confused! How do you say it?

I say it like [name_f]Melody[/name_f] without the M. I know someone who says their name like that.

I’ve always said it “ell-uh-dee” but I totally understand the “ell-oh-dee” pronunciation as well. I think both are probably correct as I’ve heard both, so use whichever one you prefer!

I’ve always said it as ell-oh-dee, closer to L O D. However I feel like if I where to say it conversation it would come out as el-uh-dee, if that makes sense.

In [name_f]English[/name_f] I would pronounce it just like [name_f]Melody[/name_f] without the M. The [name_u]French[/name_u] pronunciation is a bit different though.

It’s [name_f]El[/name_f] Oh Dee, like Melody, or the pronunciation of the 3 letters (L O D).

The second syllable is somewhere in between an -uh- and an -oh- for me. But probably closer to ell-uh-dee

Now, I pronounce it ELL-uh-dee, although I used to pronounce it El-OH-dee.

In [name_f]English[/name_f] I pronounce it ike Hello-dee w/out the H.
