I fiddle with names often, and recently I’ve been trying to consolidate and better my names list. Right now, [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is probably my favorite for the girls list, but I’ve been struggling with the middles. I prefer two middle names with a 1 syllable, 2 syllable, and three syllable name in the overall composition.
I really like [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] and [name_f]Glory[/name_f] as potential middles but then I get really hung up on the second middle and struggle to keep the name substantial and not too wordy/nature filled.
I love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]! From your list I like [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] [name_u]Joan[/name_u] the best by far. It has the right amount of oomph and is balanced beautifully. Second choice is [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. To be honest I’m not wild about the [name_f]Glory[/name_f] combos–they feel a bit clunky to me.
I love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] [name_f]Maud[/name_f]. Like the previous poster, I’m not crazy about your [name_f]Glory[/name_f] combos though. What about [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Glory[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Glory[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f]?
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is one of my favorite names, too. Unfortunately, my husband isn’t all that keen on it. I have [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Zoya[/name_f] on my own list…I also like [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]. Of yours, I like [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] [name_f]Maud[/name_f] as well. It’s a lovely three part combo…I love [name_f]Glory[/name_f] as a middle. I have [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] [name_f]Glory[/name_f] on my list…but [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] doesn’t work well with [name_f]Glory[/name_f]. Too many of the same sounds I think.
