Elsie and ella grufford

So [name_m]Ioan[/name_m] Grufford has called his new daughter [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]. Pretty cute. Except the sibling is called [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Betsi[/name_f]. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]? Far too similar imo.

I love both names on their own, together…erggh.

Ugh - Why?
[name_f]Betsi[/name_f] and [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] would be super cute! [name_f]Love[/name_f] the middle names more than the firsts!

Also - [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Betsi[/name_f] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] are all nicknames for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - wow :S

[name_f]Love[/name_f] both names on their own, but not as sisters.

I know two sisters named J@y3-[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], so it could be worse.

@suzywoo - It’s actually spelled [name_m]Ioan[/name_m] Gruffudd. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] are pretty redundant as sibling names. I do like [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]. [name_f]Ella[/name_f]/[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] and mother [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_m]Evans[/name_m] are pretty matchy in sound too!

Aside from [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] and [name_f]Betsi[/name_f] all being nicknames for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]… I’m pretty sure [name_f]El[/name_f]la [name_f]Bet[/name_f]si could easily be nn [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] without any much effort.
