Humanoid creatures with pointed ears and magic for the longest time were called Elves, and more recently Fae and Faeries, and each with their own origin.
With mine there is a species called the Sithene, which compiles the various magical creatures but is specifically used to refer to magical spirits. Some of these spirits willingly sacrifice themselves to resurrect humans, which causes their transformation. The question is, what should I call them?
