Thoughts on this for a boy?

I’d personally use it for a girl, but I do think [name_f]Ember[/name_f] could work for a boy! It reminds me of names like [name_m]Emmett[/name_m], [name_m]Emerson[/name_m], [name_f]Emery[/name_f], [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], and [name_m]Emeric[/name_m]! It also feels very woodsy to me, and I love a good woodsy boy name!

I like it, it reminds me of [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], [name_m]Frazier[/name_m], and other -er ending names for boys. I think it’s charming, and soft, and sweet, and I like it.

I like it! I would personally probably use it for a girl but I think it makes sense for a boy. It feels a bit like [name_m]Emmett[/name_m] or [name_m]Emerson[/name_m] with a more nature-y vibe

I am not a huge fan of it on either gender tbh, but it makes a lot more sense for a boy than a girl for me? I’d love to meet a boy named [name_f]Ember[/name_f]!

I have no strong opinion on [name_f]Ember[/name] for a girl, but I could genuinely see it growing on me for a boy!

I like it! I see [name_f]Ember[/name_f] more as a girl name, but it also works for boys.

ooh, I kind of like it – soft, earthy, a bit like [name_m]Asher[/name_m], [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], [name_m]Emmett[/name_m], [name_f]Emir[/name_f], [name_m]Forest[/name_m], [name_m]Everett[/name_m], [name_f]Palmer[/name_f], [name_m]Blaise[/name_m] – and like [name_f]Wren[/name_f], [name_f]Winter[/name_f], [name_f]Cadence[/name_f], [name_m]Ever[/name_m] and [name_f]Rue[/name_f].

It would be surprising for a boy, especially considering how popular it is for girls (* in the US), but I think pleasantly surprising?

I really like [name_f]Ember[/name_f] for a boy! It has a soft, earthy, warm feel, and it feels similar to names like [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], [name_f]Emery[/name_f], and [name_m]Asher[/name_m]. I’ve always thought of it as a more gender neutral name that works well on both girls and boys, even though I know its more common for girls. I could see [name_f]Ember[/name_f] with siblings like: [name_f]Indigo[/name_f], [name_m]August[/name_m], [name_m]Hollis[/name_m], [name_f]Arden[/name_f], [name_m]Rowan[/name_m], [name_f]Marlowe[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f]
