Welcome to Generation 2 of my NTB, using the most popular names from each of my previous families! The pace of this NTB is going to be quite a bit slower now that I’ve gone back to work and university (maybe expect 1 round a week??), but nevertheless, I’m hoping to have fun with this and I hope you all do too!
Name the family members & choose their occupations based on the prompts!
Family One
DW: Louisa Clare Miller “Lulu” [@kidpix21]
DH:
Louisa and her husband met at university, bonding over a shared interest of hockey. DH’s first name is a perennially popular name, and his middle name is upper-class sounding and 3+ syllables. His surname comes from a British noble family. Louisa’s job relates to her English Literature degree, whereas her other half works in finance.
Family Two
DW: Sylvie Thérèse Duchamp-Valentine [@snowmaiden]
DH:
Sylvie met her husband while travelling in Barcelona as a youth! She fell in love with the city (and DH ), so the couple decided to settle there and get married. DH comes from a Catalan family, so his first, middle and last name are all traditionally Catalan. Sylvie has a job where she can use her ability to speak 4 languages, and DH fixes things as part of his occupation.
Family Three
DF: Marianne Noor Dovecote [@kidpix21, @LyricalSquid & @GenevieveReine]
DF: Juno Rae Knight [@kidpix21 & @holloway]
Marianne and Juno met through their respective brothers, Stuart and Cairo, who were best friends at school! Juno is a photographer (you decide what type!) and Marianne’s job involves making clothes. They have recently become engaged and are excitedly prepping for their wedding. This has been made easier for the couple as one of Juno’s colleagues has offered to be their wedding photographer, and Marianne’s colleague is designing their wedding outfits!
Family Four
DGF: Miriam Clara Jane Bauer [@kidpix21]
DBF:
Miriam decided to move to her father’s home country, Austria, before settling in Switzerland, where she met her boyfriend. Both Miriam and her boyfriend have jobs that can easily be done from home, which they were grateful for during the COVID-19 pandemic. DBF has a double-barrelled first name where both parts are German, reflecting his mother tongue. His name is 3 syllables in total and he has no middle name. His surname is typically Swiss and ends with the letter i.
Family Five
DH:
DW:
Family Five are a multicultural family who reside in Greater London. DH is originally from Nigeria and works in a hospital. His first and last name are Yoruba in origin, and he has no middle name. DW is Romanian and works in a helping profession, but is not based at a hospital. Her first and middle name are widely used in Romania, and her surname is Romanian and ends with the letter u.
