I like [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] but like it better as a nickname for [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m]. [name_m]Vigo[/name_m] is cute but I prefer the spelling with two G’s.
I like both of these names. I’ve only seen [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] with 2 g’s. the only thing I don’t like about it is it mean ‘war’. Except I just looked it up and see it’s a different name with a different meaning. so never mind! I still like [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] a bit more though. Sounds friendlier/more approachable.
other thoughts: [name_m]Renzo[/name_m], [name_m]Cato[/name_m]–love this!
Yes, I did the same analysis. I agree that the spelling with two g’s is nicer looking. But I don’t know if I can get past the meaning being war. Not a nice meaning at all. [name_m]Vigo[/name_m] means ‘settlement’ which I’m just neutral on. I don’t care very much about the meaning of names, but ‘war’ I’m just not a fan of.
I’m not huge into name meanings. I’d rather have a name I love to say everyday than one with a beautiful meaning that’s just meh. I love [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] - I think it’s because I met a little boy by the name recently. His sister was [name_f]Vada[/name_f] and I was smitten. [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] is cute, but I do think it’s cutesier and works better as a nn for [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m].
[name_m]Vigo[/name_m] is more masculine and mature like but seems more distant and non-friendly.
[name_m]Enzo[/name_m] is more juvenile, kind of a slight badass, more approachable though.
I like both names, I have a thing for Italian boys names.
You want these as standalones? There are a few gems out there to get you to these nicknames.
I love [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] (as a nn for [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m], and a stand alone name)! I’d imagine a energetic little boy who’s always laughing, and cheering everyone up. [name_m]Vigo[/name_m]'s okay, I don’t have any particularly strong feelings towards it.
I love [name_m]Enzo[/name_m]! As someone said before - it seems friendlier than [name_m]Vigo[/name_m]. But [name_m]Vigo[/name_m] is a great name as wel. You can’t go wrong!
