For me, this is too close to [name]Desmond[/name] and [name]Edmond[/name] to be viable for a girl, although [name]Esme[/name] on its own is adorable, in my opinion. I think [name]Rosamund[/name] (which I love) is made less masculine by the obvious flower connection.
It just sounds masculine to me. It sounds like a mash-up of [name]Desmond[/name], [name]Osmond[/name], and [name]Edmund[/name].
