I’ve heard of Esthers going by [name_f]Tess[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Estella[/name_f] nn [name_f]Tess[/name_f] would also work and be sufficiently different from [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].

My top choice from your options is [name_f]Essie[/name_f], but you’re right that [name_f]Essie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] might get confusing. My second choice is [name_f]Estie[/name_f].

My best friends called [name_f]Esther[/name_f] (not quite [name_f]Estella[/name_f]) and has always been referred to as [name_f]Ettie[/name_f]! She is always complimented on it and loves it as it is really quite unique. She’s only ever met one other person with her name!

[name_f]Essie[/name_f] is very cute but I feel it’s become very popular all of a sudden because of the YouTuber who shares the name. Also, I feel [name_f]Essie[/name_f] is such a cute nickname it may not be quite as fitting as she becomes a teenager/young adult whereas [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] doesn’t sound like it’s too mature or too young in
my opinion?

[name_u]Love[/name_u] the suggestions of previous posters for [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] or [name_f]Tess[/name_f]. What about [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]? I don’t know that it’s typically a nn for [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], but it doesn’t seem out of place and would be different enough from [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] to not cause confusion.
