Recently I have been loving the name [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], I think that is a gorgeous, underused name with the perfect meaning of star. I don’t think it’s too old fashioned and perfect with the popular nickname [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], which I don’t mind, the popularity. Any thoughts?

[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is a really beautiful and elegant name. It’s got this glamor, old Hollywood, sophisticated and upscale vibe to it. It’s so pleasant all around.

If I can stop picturing George’s mother on Seinfield then its a nice name. I do prefer [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Ester[/name_f], and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].

I think it’s a really nice name! The nn [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is a more intuitive nickname for [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] to me, though no reason why [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] can’t be used

I defs don’t think it’s too old fashioned, it’s a sleek name with sparkly celestial associations. I prefer [name_f]Estella[/name_f] or [name_f]Stella[/name_f], but it’s still nice. I don’t like [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] but also happen to think [name_f]Este[/name_f] or [name_f]Stella[/name_f] are more intuitive nicknames (if any are needed at all) and like both. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] or [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is another possibility. Would make a great sibset with [name_f]Odette[/name_f].

I actually prefer [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] to all the other forms of the name. It is the most elegant and romantic form of the name.

I kind of get wine auntie vibes from [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], but also old Hollywood glam. It’s very lipstick and sparkles to me!

I was just thinking of this name today. I agree, it is a beautiful name that you don’t hear often and the nick names Ellie, Essie and Elsie are nice. I think it might be stereotyped to be an old lady only sort of name, but it’s so sparkly, elegant, stylish and warm like Greyblue said and it’s those things without being too frilly or other the top. I think Estelle is a really good choice.
