Esther

So I was talking to my sister about a person named [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and she thought that it was a boys name. I know it’s not very popular, but it doesn’t feel masculine to me at all. We were both raised Catholic, but she was never one to pay attention in sunday school, so I got to thinking that maybe people who don’t know the story of [name_f]Queen[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] might think it’s a masculine name or is my sister just a bit odd?

Maybe she was thinking of [name_m]Nestor[/name_m] and/or [name_m]Lester[/name_m]…

A bit odd, maybe? Lol, I’ve only ever heard [name_f]Esther[/name_f] as a girl’s name. Maybe she misheard you?

[name_f]Esther[/name_f]'s 100% feminine to me. I agree with raevynstar though, maybe she was thinking about another name that sounds similar.

I don’t think anyone would think so. [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is beautiful and feminine, in my eyes.

[name_f]Esther[/name_f] is all girl and it would be downright stupid tout it on a boy! I hope she misheard like Raevyn said…
