Was wondering what you all think of this unusual name from my husband’s family tree.
For some reason Eufrosina has stuck with me since I heard it, but I haven’t been able to find out much about it!
Is it wearable or too clunky? A good full name for [name_f]Effy[/name_f]? [name_m]Just[/name_m] too much for a baby?
Would love all opinions!
I love [name_f]Effy[/name_f] to bits but I dislike Eufrosina. Euphrosinia is a similar Russian name that is always used as an example of an ugly name and I can’t get over it.
Have you considered [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f]?
I tend to agree - I think it’s stuck with me because I’m dying to find a full name that I love for [name_f]Effie[/name_f]/[name_f]Effy[/name_f]. 🤷
I actually know a Eufrosina! Though her name is its Greek (so technically the original) version of it, Eufrosini (eff-ro-SEE-nee). I quite like her name though I find Eufrosina kind of unattractive
Still, I think it’s usable!
Though there are many more options if you want to call someone [name_f]Effie[/name_f]. From common ones ([name_f]Josephine[/name_f]) to weirder ones (Eleftheria)
