Eupheme

I’m pronouncing it ‘u-feem’

My grandma’s favourite sisters birth-name was [name]Euphemia[/name] (which is a [name]Christian[/name] saint, my family is really religous) but she had gone by [name]Effie[/name] her whole life
so, Eupheme is quite perfect, feeding my obession of Greek names!
(spirit of words of good omen, praise, acclaims, shouts of triumph, and applause)

I still love the name [name]Euphemia[/name], but you would have to be pretty brave to use it.
Whilst replacing [name]Eden[/name] on my list! I was getting a little weary of it.

What do you think of [name]Euphemia[/name]/Eupheme and nicknames [name]Effie[/name], Euphy, and Pheme!
(-:

I prefer [name]Euphemia[/name]. I think according to Greek pronunciation rules Eupheme woud be U-fee-mee.

Eupheme sounds somehow incomplete to my ears with the eu-feem pronounciation. I love [name]Euphemia[/name], a name I’d never really thought about til I read/watch “[name]True[/name] Women” (her nickname was “Phemi” prn. fee-me). Of the two, I’d stick with the original version.

[name]Alexis[/name]

I like [name]Euphemia[/name] best.

oh yes. i started realizing that soon after
not too sure about it anymore
