Personally I don’t like it very much, I think [name]Ethan[/name] is a much better alternative. Good [name]Luck[/name]

I really like the name [name]Evan[/name], particularly because it honors my dad and also because it’s a classic-y feeling name, that has a modern sort of sensibility to it.

I like [name]Evan[/name] a lot, mostly for the same reason as @garnet. It’s a form of my dad’s and brother’s name ([name]John[/name]), I believe. It’s handsome and reminds me of [name]Ireland[/name] and [name]Scotland[/name], which I love. I would imagine [name]Evan[/name] to be a great, kind guy. It’s seen quite a bit of use lately, though, so it feels a bit trendy and dated to me, but obviously not to others. There’s something holding me back from using it which I haven’t quite defined yet, but I still think it’s a great name.

I know I will be in the minority on this one, but I love [name]Evan[/name] for a girl. It is my 22 year-old sister’s name, and would have been my son’s as well were he a girl. She was named for our uncle and great-grandfather, and has always carried the name well, despite being overtly feminine.

our ds name is [name]Evan[/name] and I absolutely love it!! [name]Evan[/name] [name]James[/name]. a good, strong, masculine, nice-guy, classy name to us…[name]DO[/name] NOT like on a girl AT ALL. definitely a boy name in our book… Our [name]Evan[/name] is white blond and blue eyed and his name fits him perfectly…He also loves his name and when I ask him what he wants his little brothers name to be he always says “[name]Evan[/name]” as he is still a toddler!!

Also it is one of those names that are great for any age that your little guy is and will be in the future. If someone says the name [name]Evan[/name], you don’t know if he is a baby, a toddler, a middle school guy, a college student, or a professional young or older man:-) does that make sense?

hope I helped… I am so happy that we chose that perfect name for our son!!

[name]Evan[/name] is one of those names that I don’t like or dislike. I used to really like it, but I hear [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Ethan[/name] so often that I think I’ve just grown tired of it. Not a bad name though.

I love [name]Evan[/name]! My friend has a little [name]Evan[/name] and he has always had positive comments on his name. I actually like it on a girl too, but unisex is nms.

I am an [name]Evan[/name]'s Mom:-) and I absolutely [name]LOVE[/name] the name. Our little man could not be anything else but an [name]Evan[/name]. Always have good reactions to his name. It is not too far out there but is not as common a lot of names… I guess I am a little prejudiced but it is my favorite boy name after all:-)
