What sort of man do you see [name]Evander[/name] growing up to be?
I think [name]Evander[/name] is a great name! I picture a handsome, intelligent, but very sweet man. It is a name that people will recognize and know how to pronounce, but it isn’t common (yet isn’t weird or “out there” either). I think it is cute for a boy and still a respectable adult name, too.
I am sure there will always be the [name]Evander[/name] Holyfield connection, but that is fading in my opinion.
I love [name]Evander[/name] on its own, but if I had to choose a nickname, I like [name]Van[/name]. Or maybe Vandy or [name]Andy[/name]?
[name]Evander[/name] is not bad but I much prefer [name]Lysander[/name] or [name]Leander[/name] for a boy’s name. [name]Evan[/name] was the first nickname that popped into my head. I picture a bold, unique individual whose not afraid to stick up for himself (oh there’s the boxer image creeping in!). If you like it, go for it!
